I have a strong passion in teaching and enjoy interaction between kids. As a teacher, I always have a strong sense of satisfaction whenever a child is able to grow and improve under my guidance. I believe that the potential of every child is limitless and that it is a teacher's job to be able to maximize their potential. Hence it is very important that we, as teachers, be it home or school, are able to develop his/her interest in studying. Knowledge is fun, and the way I put across is to let the child have an understanding about the subject itself, then gaining the interest and curiosity that every child has towards studying. I believe that I can help a child grow, and will try my very best to help them improve their grades.

Achievement

I graduated from Yishun Junior College and am studying EEE, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, in the local university, Nanyang Technological University. Due to my strong passion in teaching young children, I have decided to change my course to NIE to learn how to be a more promising teacher, so as to be able to help more children as a professional teacher.

Proven Record

I have helped children of primary levels, mainly primary 1 to primary 5. All the children that I've taught have made improvements in their grades. Once there is a drop in their studies, I will review the problems with the child himself/herself, and to let him/her understand where his/her mistakes were. My enjoyment in interaction with kids allows me to teach pre-school children as well.
