I have been a math peer tutor in Anderson Junior College to teach H2 Math and currently is teaching 2 students on Sec 4 Additional&elementary math and 1 sec3 aemath since last year. I have won Silver award in 2005 Math Olympiad, Bronze in 2006 and Honorable Mention in 2007. My forte has always been math as I have been topping my class in exams and always be within 90percentile in JC H2 math. In the H2 Math AJC Prelim exam, I got 93 percentile. I believe for math, more practices are required provided the student understand the concepts well so I will ensure that the student understand the concepts and then provide different levels of qns to attempt. Topical tests can also be given to gauge the understanding of the concepts and when near exams period, mock papers can be given for management of time as well as gauge own ability and know the mistakes made. Students and classmates that I have tutored have made improvements by jumping many grades in Math so I believe that I can do a good job in teaching Math from Primary Level to JC level. Right now, i am also teaching Primary 3 and 4 Math. I also taught before P2 math in a tuition centre. Currently I am majoring in Statistics and minoring in Mathematics in NUS, thus the course of study is related to what I am teaching-Mathematics. Thank you! =)

Proven Record

I have helped a student to jump from a D to a B in H2 Math during his Preliminary Examination after the peer tutor session. However, this is also possible due to him being hardworking. In addition, I have helped the Sec 4 students whom I am teaching now to improve. One has passed his exams which initially he failed. Another one scored over 80marks for both aemath.
