Although I was not coming from a local high school, but from one in my hometown, but the standard is equivalent to the A-level in Singapore. In fact, that is why I can directly go to NTU without having to go through a bridging program or Polytechnic. Additionally, my high school was considered one of the best schools in my hometown, focusing on its Maths and Science. My interest in Maths and Science was even deepened throughout my 4 years of study in the university majoring in Engineering. I have had experiences tutoring primary and IB students (equivalent to Secondary) before, and enjoyed teaching very well. In fact, currenly I am working as a teacher's assistant in Anglo-Chinese School (International) before embarking on a more stable career as a teacher.
