I started teaching chemistry as a part time tutor since I was an undergraduate in NUS. After graduated from NUS, I joined a renowned education center in Singapore for 5 years and I have undergone various trainings in this place to be one of the top chemistry trainers in Singapore.
I have coached more than 400 students, thus I understand what a student needs to master the subject and to score A/A1 in exams. I created various strategies, notes and concept maps that are very useful for students to master the subject in the shortest possible time so that they can spend more time on practicing with speed and accuracy. I am also an author of a chemistry book entitled ‘First step to scoring A1 in chemistry’.
I have a vast experience in teaching students on a one-to-one basis as well as in groups. The size of my group lessons ranges from 2 students to 30 students. I also conduct intensive revision workshops to help students revise the entire syllabus effectively in just one month. I believe that all students deserve their As if they are willing to learn and work for it, and with this believe, I have helped many students who were failing initially to score A in their chemistry exams.
I often receive positive feedbacks from students that I am a very patient coach and they find that chemistry has become much easier with me guiding them. I have put in a lot of effort to perfect my teaching methodology and materials, and I am proud and confident to say that I am definitely one of the top chemistry coaches in Singapore.
