Ha Quang Son is currently an undergraduate majoring in Mathematics and Economics at the Nanyang Technological University. He graduated from Anderson Secondary School (ASS) in 2006 and from National Junior College (NJC) in 2008. Being awarded with the ASEAN Merit Award for 4 years, Quang Son has consistently exhibited his capability to strike a great balance between academic performance and active involvement in co-curricular activities (CCAs), be it in clubs, societies or sports arena.
Being a disciplined, self-driven and committed tutor, Quang Son is willing to go to great lengths to inspire, motivate and provide professional assistance and guidance to students of various backgrounds to work towards the desired goal of achieving academic excellence. What’s more, he believes in awakening and strengthening the inquisitive nature of every child as the basis for success, for a student who is earnest to learn together with a tutor who is passionate to impart knowledge would, more often than not, guarantee top results. Quang Son is familiar with the current MOE syllabus and constantly updates himself through different means. He has a strong foundation in areas of Mathematics & Science and would love to share it with his students in creative ways.
Quang Son’s love for fun and interaction between tutor and student is as fervent as his love for Mathematics. He has clinched commendable results in various Mathematics competitions that are recognised both locally and internationally, be it the Singapore Maths Olympiad (Bronze), Australian Maths Competion(High Distinction), American Maths Competition(Distiction).
In short, Quang Son goes by the motto “Long strives, live strong”. He promises to strive his very best to deliver the best to his students so that they can stand strongly in school and in life.
