Dr Foo was the first Singaporean scientist to be awarded the Glenn T Seaborg Fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory, USA
Dr Foo was among the pioneer staff member of the Institute of Chemical & Engineering Sciences (ICES) and was the regional technical staff member of Johnson & Johnson’s Singapore Research Center
Dr Foo has a long association with chemical education.
Beginning from teaching chemistry in Singapore at St Joseph’s Institution and Willow Avenue Secondary School to universities in the United States
Until 2012, Dr Foo was serving with the Great Science Challenge and the National Science Challenge, setting all the chemistry questions.
Dr Foo also currently serves as the Chairman, School Advisory Board at North Spring Primary School
