Teacher Jean is an experienced piano teacher and piano accompanist with more than 17 years of experience. She has taught beginners to advanced level, and her students range from age 3 to 58 years old!
Teacher Jean started learning piano at the age of 3, and holds a diploma in both practical and theory from the Trinity College of London. (ATCL, AMusTCL). She scored distinctions in both her grade 8 practical and theory exams with ABRSM and was awarded the Hedy King Robinson Prize for outstanding Grade 8 Theory Results. She also completed Grade 13 to grade 6 (Senior Piano Course) from Yamaha Music School. In addition to teaching piano freelance, she currently also sings with the SYC Ensemble Singers and plays the piano for several primary and secondary school choirs.
Previously, Teacher Jean has also taught at music schools before. Here are some of her past teaching experience:

Parents appreciate her firm and strict but patient and friendly approach, and students enjoy her lessons. She is a strong believer of learning music in an all-rounded way and to let children enjoy the musical journey while advancing their skills in piano.
