I always believe in motivated-learning. Hence, I'd interact with student, finding out first how he/she is like - personality and attitude towards learning. From which, I'd devise appropriate teaching plans. Sometimes, I'd role-play with students. Students act as the teacher and explain concepts back to me, as if I were the student. This will 1) Verify if they have learnt concepts correctly 2) Build up confidence in articulating ideas out - useful in interpersonal/presentation skills. 3) Give students a sense of achievement I'd strive to let students appreciate what they learn through sharing of its real-life applications and personal experiences, instead of rote-learning.
