I specialize in tutoring maths. The assignments I received usually terminates only when the student graduates from secondary school.
I allow the students to attempt questions of varying difficulties and will start from the textbook to help weaker students if necessary.
I can also explain concepts well and show how it is related (if any) to what the student previously learned. During explanations, I can go into details and show possible variations in applying the concepts. Along the way, I will ask for feedback from student to ensure he/she understands what is taught.
Whenever possible, I will carry out revision 3 weeks prior to the student’s test/exam.
I have students who are recommended by teachers to learn maths on a higher stream (NA students doing express maths) and still manage to pass/ace. I also have students who improved 2 to 3 grades after 5 months.
