This is my first attempt at tuition as I had previously wanted to ensure that I am able to juggle my studies and CCAs. After my first year at NUS, I am confident of dedicating time and effort every week to my tutees, and at the same time not compromise on school-related pursuits.
This, however, is not my first time teaching. I have been in various leadership positions in school, and have coached and mentored my juniors. As such, I have the necessary skills and patience to ensure that my charges learn well.
I take personal responsibility in all my endeavors and hence my tutees' performance is just as important to me. I look forward to working with him/her in improving his/her academic performance and confidence.
I intend to commit to my tuition assignments on a long-term basis. I'm available on weekends and some weekdays. However, my available weekdays may change every academic semester. Still, I will definitely factor in my tutees' availability when planning my timetable for his/her convenience.
I am a scholar and also on the Dean's List. I take pride in fulfilling my responsibilities to the best of my abilities. Therefore, rest assured that I will be a dedicated teacher, and carry out my lessons well.
