I recently graduated from NUS. In Singapore, I have given tuition for the last 3-4 years, during which time I have taught 3 students, one in Sec 1 Maths and Chem, one in JC Physics and the other in Sec 3 Maths and Chem. My method is to help my students understand the core concepts of the subject matter, because everything else becomes much easier after overcoming that first hurdle.
