I have been tutoring JC and IB students in Economics since 2007 during my NS days. I have taught close to 20 students from numerous institutions and am familiar with the syllabus and teaching styles of various schools. In the process, I have amassed teaching resources-such as notes and past exams with markers' comments- and also honed my craft as a teacher.
Even though many of these students only started with me in the middle of JC2, through intensive sessions, I have been able to help them catch up with their syllabus and fulfill their potential at the A-Levels. I understand why students might fear Economics and I am confident that I can impart my knowledge in a manner that makes the subject much more approachable. The A-Levels is not easy and I cannot take the place of the hard work that students have to put in to ensure that they can demonstrate content knowledge and critical analysis. However, I can provide all the resources, the framework and analytical tools for an earnest student to do well at the A-Levels.
